Leaning back against massive, steep slopes and dense pine forests, with the purest shade of turquoise stretched out before it, this cove gives the literal feeling of being at "the edge of the world." Where noisy music, engines, and horns are replaced solely by the rustle of waves and the song of cicadas, this is the sacred refuge for backpackers and those wishing for a complete digital detox from the modern world

Access: There is absolutely no road access for standard vehicles to this cove. You have two options: rely on your feet and follow the historic forest trail, or arrive by sea.

For Adventure Seekers (Lycian Way Trail): After reaching Kabak Bay via the dolmuş (minibus) from Ölüdeniz or Fethiye, your adventure begins. Follow the historic Lycian Way trail, marked by red-and-white stripes, leading from Kabak Bay. After a vigorous 1.5 to 2-hour nature hike under the shade of pine trees, you will descend into the cove from the hillside. The route offers breathtaking sea views, but it requires a good level of physical fitness.

By Sea: For those who prefer not to hike or who are carrying heavy camping gear, private zodiac shuttles or boats departing from Kabak Beach or Ölüdeniz provide transport to the cove.

Cennet Koyu is a pristine living space governed by the rules of nature, completely removed from the commercial beach concept.

Facilities & Accommodation: You won't find sunbeds, umbrellas, main electricity, or luxury beach clubs here. However, in the greenery just behind the cove, there are a few rustic, intimate camping/glamping spots that operate on solar energy, where campers can meet basic needs such as showers, toilets, and food/drinks in complete harmony with nature.

Camping: This is the most legendary spot in Fethiye to set up your own tent and sleep under the stars in the lap of nature. You can use the established camping grounds or spend time in pristine areas, provided you do not harm the environment.

The Character of the Sea & Shore: Unlike many of Fethiye’s stony coves, Cennet Koyu features a wonderful beach composed of white sand and fine pebbles. The sea is typically very clear, open-water, and invigorating. While it can become wavy depending on the wind in the afternoon, it transforms into a mirror-like pool in the early morning.
"Escapes Go" Vital Traveler's Note
If you plan to hike from Kabak to Cennet Koyu, professional hiking shoes are a must; never attempt this trail in flip-flops or flat sneakers. Since there are no water sources along the trail, it is vital to carry at least 2 liters of water and energy snacks in your backpack. And, of course, as we leave this untouched paradise, we leave nothing behind but our footprints.
